Privacy notice
Last updated:
This is interim text written by the project owner. It is not legal advice.
What we store when signup is enabled
- An internal record number
- Your email address
- The date and time you gave consent
- The version of the consent text you agreed to
- A marker that the address is not yet confirmed
- The date and time you signed up
What we do not store
We do not store your IP address or any device or browser data with a signup.
Site access logs
Like most websites, our server keeps access logs to operate and secure the site. Those logs store only an anonymized version of your IP address — the last part is always zeroed before it is written — never the full address. The newsletter signup's rate limiter uses your full IP address for a moment, in memory, to stop abuse, but never writes, logs, or stores it anywhere.
Why
Your address is used only to send you launch updates. It is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone else.
Where
Signups are stored on a self-hosted PostgreSQL database on the project's own server.
Future email provider
We may switch to Brevo to send email in the future. Before any news is sent, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your address.
How long
Your address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, or until this interim list ends and addresses move to Brevo.
Your rights
To access or delete your data, write to dev.juliomtz@gmail.com.
